When Briana’s mother decided to close her long-standing salon, Briana took a bold step by leaving college to pursue her passion for hairstyling. Starting with just four stations, Briana and her mom embarked on a new journey.

Hello and welcome to Illusion Real Beauty Studio! I’m Briana Sanavongxay, and I’m thrilled to share the story behind our family-owned salon.
My mother Leticia Ortiz, a first-generation Mexican-American with over 30 years as a dedicated hairstylist, built and led her own salon for nearly three decades.. When she decided to close her salon, 2 years later I took a leap of faith, leaving college at 19 to follow my passion for hairstyling. Together, we launched Illusion Real with just four stations, honoring her legacy by continuing with the same cherished name.
Fast forward six years, and our salon has grown with an amazing team and my husband’s invaluable support as a manager. I’m passionate about mentoring both new and experienced stylists and giving back to our Arizona Valley community.
