Stylist Levels & Expertise

Apprentice

An Apprentice has trained under our lead stylist for at least a year, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential techniques. While they are capable of performing certain services independently, they still benefit from guidance and support to ensure optimal results.

Level 1 Stylist

A Level 1 Stylist has developed considerable expertise and proficiency across the services they offer. They have a solid grasp of advanced techniques and product knowledge, ensuring a skilled and effective service. Although they may work at a more measured pace, this allows them to focus on precision and achieve high-quality results. Level 1 Stylists are committed to ongoing growth and occasionally seek guidance to further enhance their efficiency and skill set.

Level 2 Stylist

A Level 2 Stylist handles complex services with confidence and precision. They possess advanced expertise in all services and demonstrate a high level of skill and efficiency. Their extensive experience allows them to tackle challenging requests with ease.

Level 3 Stylist

A Level 3 Stylist is a seasoned professional with over five years of experience, excelling in every service they offer. Their advanced skills and in-depth knowledge ensure top-notch results, from intricate color transformations to flawless cuts and styles. In addition to their technical expertise, Level 3 Stylists take on a leadership role within the salon, mentoring and training lower-level stylists to elevate their skills. We use R+Co products tailored to your hair type during your wash for optimal results.

MANE Illusion Hair Extensions

At Illusion Real, we use MANE Illusion Hand-Tied Hair Extensions, featuring one of the safest and most innovative methods available. Our NBR Extensions employ strategically placed beads to minimize contact points and evenly distribute weight, protecting your natural hair. This advanced technique ensures excellent results with minimal damage. We offer a range of hair lengths between 20-24″, ready for installation and customization. Additionally, each service includes a personalized haircut to seamlessly blend your extensions.

Thickness only

This option includes between 4-6 wefts of (20-22") hair between 1-2 rows. 4-6 wefts gives between 80-120 grams of hair.

Give me length and thickness

This option includes between 8-10 wefts of hair between 2-3 rows. 8-10 wefts gives between 160-200 grams of hair.

EXTRA Thick EXTRA Length

This option includes between 12-15 wefts of (22-24") hair between 3-4 rows. 12-15 wefts gives between 240-280 grams of hair.

This customized approach ensures a result that perfectly aligns with your vision.

Our Platinum Service creates a striking, ultra-light blonde, achieved through balayage or highlights. This service involves achieving a near-white or silver shade, often requiring multiple lightening processes for a flawless finish. For a more solid finish at the ends, we recommend booking under a Platinum Card. Achieving the lightest shade with this service requires a double process in the same day, resulting in a higher cost and extended appointment time.

Trim or one length haircut

We recommend our clients do this after a lightning service every 6-8 weeks

When you book a haircut with us, you'll start with a relaxing wash using our premium R+Co products, customized for your hair. We then have a detailed consultation to choose the perfect style and provide advice. Following the consultation, we proceed with your haircut and finish with a blowout using rollers to ensure a sleek, voluminous look.

What’s the Cost Impact of Longer and/or Thicker Hair?

The additional cost reflects the extra time required for the application and the increased amount of product used. Each service includes a set amount of product; if your hair requires more, we charge $20 for each additional bowl of color or lightener. This ensures you only pay for the exact amount of product needed to achieve your desired results while keeping costs fair and transparent.
